I disagree severly with coyote on this game and im going to write my own review to show you all what its really like.
starting off: Driver 2, ahh the memories of this game still buzz in my head from the first year i played it, i was so disappointed, compared to the original, this game to me was a blow off, the graphics even sometimes appeard to be worse the first driver game, which, to me, is still better than driver 2. many people still wonder why i hate driver 2, well maybe this will help you.
Storyline: 4/10 The story was confusing, and kinda unrealistic, i dont know, just the way that you had to do things, still your typical 2 or 3 types of mission:
1. Point A. to B.
2. Ram Him/ Chase
3. don let it blow up.
wow, pretty boring to me, especially with the car physics, but i will go back to that in a minute.
Game Physics: 2/10 Very bad pyhisics, the car handle terrible and somewhat understeered every time you had to take a sharp turn, unfortunatley, almost every car in the whole damn game handles the saem way.
Cars: 2/10 How the HELL, do people think there is a wide variety of vehicles in this gaem!!?? per city there are like 5 normal city cars, 3 or 4 special cars, a hidden car, and a cop car. Not really the biggest car showcase i have ever seen.
Car damage: 3/10 I dont even want tgo talk about it, cars damage sucked.
Characters: 5/10 NNothing much to say about this, i mwan they have a nice veriety of characters, and the rivalry between tanner and jericho are what kept the sereis going, im pretty sure thats the only thing i like about the game, no to mention the fact that even the characters would have a low grade if it wernt for that right there.
Overall: 3/10 A truly terrible game, if you ask me, i thinkl the whole rerason that some people say this game is any good i s ONLY because of their pride, if they wernt so proud of the driver series, then maybe they would agree, now im not saying i dont ahve pride for the driver series, becasue i love it, but there is a time where you just have to come and be honest.
