Driver 2 – Vehicle Damage & Impact Rebalance (Experimental Mod)
What this mod does:
Rebalances damage multipliers per model via a modified executable (bcollide logic).
Adjusts impact/physics behavior via edited LCF files so heavy vehicles actually behave heavy:
Trucks/buses barely get pushed by small cars
Small cars get thrown back forcefully when crashing into large vehicles
Large vehicles receive less damage in impacts/collisions
Damage is not tied to the impact coefficient, hence the need for EXE changes
Included:
Modified EXE
Edited LCF files
Fixed EN_GAME.LTXT (required for correct menu text alignment)
Save file (USA version) – if you choose to use this save file it must be used with this EXE
Notes:
Fully playable (all missions completed), but experimental
