I managed to get into a garage and hide there from cops. After about 10 minutes I decided to leave.

Yeah, I did something similar to that, in some cases the cops arn't that smart.
But in driv3r you can go lots of places where the cops cannot go.
Hopefully A.I. will be improved in future driving games.
