Driver Madness

Hello pals
I'm new to the forum, and here's my first question:

Is there any mod for Driver 1 which allows me to exit a car and enter another one in Take a Ride-Mode? Or is it technically possible to create a mod/script/... to do so?

I'm looking forward to play the old Driver games again on PC since the games are modable and run alot better than on my PS1 (especially Driver 2 with it's poor framerate and render distance, god bless ReDriver 2 ).

I hope there is someone who can help me out with my request

The real solution imo: just add Driver maps and cars to Re-Driver 2, problem solved.

Actually, this reminds me of how in 2013, I used to daydream on the school bus about a version of Driver 2 where you would travel via airport/train/boat to other cities as well as customize and move with your cars from city to city. duuude, that's would be TOTALLY WICKED!

But sadly, my dreams rarely come true...oh well
