I would like to let everyone know that since I restored the old downloads and nothing is no longer corrupted, I will be converting the older .DMODEL car mods to the newer .OBJ format. What are the advantages of this? It allows for more control over certain things, such as damage (for the future) and stuff like that. .DMODEL format is outdated, .OBJ is the way to go!

I will be posting the new OBJ format cars in the Downloads section. Keep an eye out in the near future!

Hey Clutch, it's actually not that hard to do. Just make a car (the 260 vertex limit is gone!), texture it as you normally would, and then save it as an OBJ. If you use 3DS Max, the current importer does not like the OBJ exporter that 3DS Max uses. I know for a fact ZModeler 2 and Milkshape have good OBJ exporters that should work. You will also need the MTL file along with the OBJ, since that's what DCI reads to know what texture to use. Then you use DCI and use the Car Importer Wizard, select your clean car OBJ, next, make sure the texture is correct, and boom done.
