Driver Madness

For the longest time, I always wanted to deny the fact that the secret red car you unlock after beating the game was NOT a Ferrari. However, after some photoshop work and looking at many different Google image references, I have created a true 1960 Ferrari GT SWB out of the Driver textures -



I think what threw me off for the longest time was the ridiculous headlight placement found on the "beta" front texture you can find in Miami.lev - I always looked at this as a sign of it not being a Ferrari. I did everything in my power to prove it was a late 60s to early 70s MG, but that quest failed. Everything Ferrari is in this texture, even the body screams a Ferrari.

So for those of you who denied it being a Ferrari, well, sadly, we've been beaten. It is indeed...a Ferrari.

I knew it was an Ferrari, never known the model or year though. This screams for an actuall texture mod, doesnt it?

Due to the horrible quality of the actual model itself, it looks like pure crap as a texture mod. The model needs some serious fixes if this mod is to be released

Crap model or no, the texture mod is epic. Just post it up!

Just press "print screen" button and cut it from screenshot.

I will release the texture soon. BTW, I don't suggest using this texture mod - the UV mapping of the model itself completely ruins it. I am in the process of making UV fixes that will be released in the distant future.

But still, its a great texture mod. How about making the other cars in driver look more like their real counterparts?
