You all know that bus texture found in some of the first texture blocks in Miami? Well..

Driver Bus says "Hi"

It's got 219 vertices, so when we got model importing (and wheel positions) fully working, I'll put it in game as a civ car! :specialdriver:

AWESOME.

Otherwise it looks like Midnight Club`s bus, very similar model.

Awesome, I remember seeing that when I was browsing through the Miami textures. Its the same texture group as the one with the van on right? (This one: http://www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=13082&width=1366 )

There's also an interesting looking truck on San Francisco > Texture Groups > Texture 57. ;) (using Driver texture editor)

Also, I wanted to ask; can you view textures like this on the PS version of Driver using a program like this? Cheers.

Hello there, Matt

Unfortunately DTE2 supports only PC Version for now. PS version has different file system, that can`t be decrypted that easy as PC. On alternative you can either use utility like PSXVRAM, using ePSXe savestates, to import textures from PS version ;)

I remember you, wasn`t you the guy with PS1 Driver car cheats and driving on Newcastle level? Nice to meet you! *shakes hand* :D

Hi, RacingFreak. :) Nice to meet you too. *accepts handshake* Yes, its the same MattJ155 from YouTube lol. I've posted a fair few Driver videos including Newcastle and car modifier codes. Wow, looking back to my old Newcastle video, I could do with remaking it, my driving was terrible! lol.

Anyway, back on topic. Thanks, I have epsxe already so I'll have a look at the program you recommended. I just wondered whether you could use such a program to possibly find beta textures and stuff, like the beta Buick texture which I've already seen on the forum. It'd be interesting to see what lies within other games...

Oh yeah, most definitely. I also noticed that truck in San Francisco, the one that looks like a box truck? I always thought that was cool!

Bus is based off from a GMC RTS

To Dr Doom: You could try importing it as a civ car Event model in Miami as the textures are quite low quality and also if you import it as an event model, you do not need to worry about wheel positions.

I would love to do that, but currently importing event model's is impossible...

Hmm... event models? Well, I have an idea how to do it ;)

I haven't any idea about making and using events. It is some kind of understanding by me, how Miami door event works.

will this work with the new model importer? you should try and put it as a dummy car on the miami bridges at least!

The 'dummy' cars you see that the bridges are the lower poly traffic cars... known as CIVCARLOW.

First off, I have lost this model on an old hard drive I am STILL waiting to get fixed. Secondly, there is a way to add certain models to the Event Models list, but Jeff hasn't made a feature to implement this as of now. Sadly, we must wait until he can figure out a way to do that successfully.

Wait, was this bus meant to be in the game?? What the hell, why don't we have a Driver 1 beta thread? Which other cars were meant to be included? A damn BUS? Do you you what that means!! It would be the biggest and largest vehicle ever in Driver 1

Wow what the hell! But are those drivable vehicles or not? I mean I know of that Ice Van (which isn't drivable) in the PC version. But was that car drivable once? There's so much stuff in that game, much more then there seems to be :) Still going through all those old topics.

Oh alright I thought they were meant to be drivable :) I remember having seen the ice van with wheels somewhere, must have been a mod then! Nice one.
