Driver Madness

I created this typical English Police car replica, and tried it on Newcastle level. Car itself is a modified New Castle Traffic car, with some textures from the PSX version of it. Needs some fixes, though, but`s fine:

*Note, since it replaces some NC related files and a mission script, please make a backup of your game files, before replacing. Minor bugs will be fixed up in next release (final).

BTW, English copcars of that era had blue beacon rays on top of the roof.

Yeah PD. The only reason I didn`t used an ACTUAL one was, because of the coplights. They are red-blue, while I need one blue for English copcars (just like in Havana and Rio, in Driver 2).

Did anyone ever played it? Jeez, come on, the only bugs are disabled traffic and police damageables...

Tried it, the mod apperently does more then just adding a correct texture for the cop car. I did follow your instructions in the readme.


It appears you replaced a tile to much in the d3d file of NC.
