hi,
new to this and i wondered what program do you use to model the cars for driver?
ive got zmod and zmod2 if there are any plug ins for that
also whats the poly limit for the game

Hello, and welcome to the forum!

As far I know, there are a few, useful tools for it, here. Then, you can see SOAP`s guide at how exactly to do it, and download Milkshape3D from here. Hope this helps.

For now, you can only use Milkshape for models. Maybe in the future there will be a Zmod plugin.

Not sure as to the poly limit, but the vertex limit is ~256 for cars. I was making a vertex patch that successfully raised it to over 3000 verticies, but my latest attempt which raises it past 8000 crashes at seeming random points in time, which I am trying to fix. However I have had less time lately, so I haven't worked on it much.

Or to export the model in .3ds format, and edit it in Zmodeler or 3DS max
Same as you need to convert it in NFS4 or MM2.

As for the Zmod filter, I think Oleg M. could help us.

It would be fine, but I think after the vertex limit patch release.

Well I`ve asked time ago about making own filters for zmodeler for TD5, traffic TD5 (.PRR) and one for Midnight Club. No response yet.

Of course. There will not any, because oleg doesn`t develop Zmodeler 1x anymore. Anyway, I`m going to created filters for Zmodeler (I get a SDK filter examples). I`m currently trying to make them.
