First post on this awesome forum

so uhh.. hey guys!
Anyway ever since I was a kid I always wanted to drive the white car in the cut scenes, but as years went by a driver modding scene seemed non existent.. until the other day when I found DTE and now project challenger
So when I woke up this morning I decided to have a go at scratch modeling this car using nothing but my eyes and the blurry FMV movies

just finished tonight, I ripped and modified the textures from a civ car in miami, although I do plan and making a proper texture map sometime.. Hopefully if all these tools keep developing we might be able to drive this magical machine pretty soon
Still needs tweaking...

Agreed.
Try making the blue Caddy that crashed in the parking garage FMV. Or the brown Ford Country Squire from that FMV.

You should be a Driver car creator. I want to see more of your work using Driver textures from either the PC or PS1.

Caddy ? Your "limo" is a Caddy .
The Car looks amazing. I wonder, was this done ever before, an FMV Car in the normal Game ?

It's a shame that Slick lost his account because of Host2X. I seriously want to strangle the idiots who failed to keep all of our data.

It's the website admin who's responsible for backups, not the host.

There was a backup, but it was somehow corrupted either while saving or sometime in it's history. That's were we got the posts back from.
I hope slick gets his car in game, now that its possible.

Hey guys! I finally re-registered

There hasn't been any new developments yet, all my work is on another unplugged PC waiting for me to get it onto my new system (actually my old gaming PC I repaired). As soon as I have the time I will get this beast in game for sure, after all its been my wish since I first starting playing Driver

This thread is pretty much a year and 2 months old. And the information you posted is quite old, I've known this for about 4 years now.
