PS1 TEXTURE COLLECTION (MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH)

I have figured out a way to get PS1 textures! I am so awesome!
Ok, so I found this neat little program called PSXVRAM. It basically loads a blank file you get by opening up an ePSXe save state file and then extracting the blank extension file. You then drag this file onto PSXVRAM and it loads a big window full of miscolored textures. You have to find the correct palettes that accompanies a texture, and trust me, there's ALOT of them. I had to find multiple palettes to create this:
It's not one image - it is compromised of 11 layers, with a little section cut out of the other layers (basically so it shows the texture under it).
I already found the civ car palettes, teal purple and blue so far. I'm trying to find brown. I will get to work on these a little bit later, they're hard to do. Here is one of them using an old method before I figured out the photoshop one -
And yes, I found the palette for the beta cop car too (I'm using the training garage level for this one).
For those who don't believe me for any reason...

Also, we may be able to find the beta GSX texture and other beta player car textures.

I'm afraid the Beta GSX is gone forever...I have figured out that the textures were OVERWRITTEN by the team. As in, they completely changed the texture, kind of like how the DTE works. The Beta GSX is gone, but forever lives in screenshots...

It's the front fender - you'll see it.

Overall, we probably only have around 60% of the game fully mapped out.

Well, I can tell you that this doesn't show EVERY texture in the game - only the ones that are currently loaded into the game, so therefore, I can't get all of the car textures that may exist in the game...I could only get them if they were loaded into the game.

Got another one. It's the strange "Monte Carlo" from New York -
Turns out it's the Regal from Miami, just with a different body shape/texture mapping...

A simple photoshop reveals that the van on the PC is essentially the pickup from Miami, but with a different body shape -
Yes, it's photoshopped - but the texture on the van is not - I imported the PS1 civ textures (I had to turn off colored cars).

Why does the pickup only spawn in the garage,anyway? Beta traffic vehicle they just decided to leave in, parked in the garage?

It is hard to believe that a decade later, there are still people as dedicated to DRIVER and DRIVER 2 as you guys are, keeping things fresh. That is pretty cool, man.

Awesome stuff! I'm thinking of putting in some of those Civ car textures, but I'm not sure how much I'd have to modify the textures to make them work properly.

Im looking through the PS1 yellow and black buick demo textures at the moment using this program, severe lack of a palatte at the side, how do i go about fixing that, is there more than one version or what? im on windows 7
EDIT: heres a pic, sorry about the size. I tried compatibility mode but still no joy
