So I'm back and will try and make an update to the DTE. I'm going to be adding better support for saving (actual windows save dialogs) and other things. I might even try and get tsd files loading so that there can be new title screens. Hopefully I'll be around more often.

Anyway: What I need to know from you guys is what is good and bad in the DTE and any changes you want done to it.

MAKE IT READ THE PS1 LEV FILES TOO!!!! I tried to crack them with this but it failed terribly.

Aren't they like in some crazy radge format that makes that impossible or something? Let me tell you what, it may be imposible but can the texture size be ramped up cause i'm sure Driver would look about 10x better with high resolution textures! Good luck with any extras or just an updated ui will be groovy and thanks for the kit, i used it for the first time yesterday and its wicked!

I was thinking about the same think! Hi-res textures for Driver would be sick.

Just thought I'd let you guys know that I have TSD files decoded for the most part. All that is missing is where it says what palette to use.

Since I'm not going to be making as big of an update as I was originally (I'm working on other Driver related things) I'm probably just going to add paletted image support and I might add a better updater as well.

That sounds wicked!! as you also found a way to edit the wheel model, does this indicate that you might put together a model/city editor ?

so he is gonna make a object/level editor.

Oh yeh i know that hes also modded the textures and the texture editor but since I saw the CLEANWHEEL mod he did it got me very excited about the possibility of level editing.
