Ok, so I asked someone972 to make a decoder for the .leader, .player, and .X files. First of all, what you do is drag a .leader/.player/.X file over it and it will spit out a good estimate of where you last were. REMEMBER, you have to find a spot to start out with by going to wherever, finding a spot, and parking there. Make sure you're completely still, then quit the game.

Please enjoy.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: You must fine-tune rotation, bugs are still being worked out.

Cool! As soon as I get at home, I'll try it! :)

Just a note: The rotation probably wont be correct. It may be close though. If you are facing backwards from where you expected then add 2048 to the rotation. You can then fine tune it to the proper value.

It shouldn't require any dependencies and should be able to run anywhere.

Technical:
Hex code positions (in the startpos files):
X coord: 18 (4 bytes)
Y coord: 20 (4 bytes)
Rotation: 34 (3 nibbles)
