Step 1: Use the default player position in Miami, and when the game starts, don't move.

Step 2: ALT+TAB, go to C:\Program Files\GT Interactive\Driver\ and select the STARTPOS.X file. Copy, and paste into the ReplayData\Chase folder, and name rename it to MYMC0.leader (My Miami Chase). Now, use the default position again but this time find a good spot to take off to chase him. Repeat the asme process above to make MYMC0.player (copy/paste/rename STARTPOS.X file).

Step 3: Go to the Driver game directory, click ReplayData\Chase, copy MA0.PINGS and paste, and the result should be something like "Copy of MA0.PINGS". Just rename this to MYMC0.PINGS. Now here comes the fun part. Start the game normally in Miami, but MAKE SURE you use the van! Once you find the van, wait a second, then slam on the throttle. Go crazy, have fun. Then, when you feel the chase is long enough, crash into a tree. Now the .PINGS files control traffic, so try not to slam into any traffic. After you're done, ALT+TAB, go to the Driver game directory, go to ReplayData\User, and copy the $TEMP$.PADS file. Copy it, paste it into the ReplayData\Chase folder, and rename it to MYMC0.PADS.

Step 4: Open mission12.dms in any text editor, and change the line RandomChase "ma" to RandomChase "MYMC". Then change SetLeadCarModel # to SetLeadCarModel 6. This will be the van, which you just drove. Now you can even change the palette, like 1-8 or 13. NOW, edit the mladder.dml found in the Data folder and erase everything and only leave MISSION 12 at the top. This will allow you to jump to your newly made chase.

Hopefully this works, I will try this when I get home. Any problems, let me know.

I just finished my testing, and my conclusion is that we probably will never see our own chases. Unless someone hacks it..idk
