Great news everyone! While developing the GUI I finally solved my palette order problem :D . Now I can properly display images using the correct palettes as defined in the d3d files!

Right now the March 30th release date stands.

Amazon has their heads stuck up their asses. I mean come on, really, if Driver 4 was to be released on March 30, then Driver-4.com would be exploding with news and Ubisoft would be giving us some updates on whats going on, GameSpot & IGN would have had news a month prior, too.

Out of everyone who has the PC release only you have successfully modified the textures within the game. Unless, your a professional who knows so much about this kind of stuff, I guess it's slightly laughable. But it seems you have done an amazing job. I haven't had an opportunity to try your application yet, but I plan to in the future.

• *.TSD support will not be featured in 0.9B, will be included in a later version

• Palette saving may or may not be included in 0.9B (ex. Civ Cars, buildings, etc.)

Sorry guys, I'm going to have to push the release date back to April 1st (if then) :( . Something came up on Saterday and I wasn't able to work for most of that day. It will have paletted saving by the way, it just might be difficult for multi-paletted images.

EDIT: These links are now outdated and will eventually stop working. Instead go to the project's homepage over at SourceForge.

Alright, I've got the first release out (It actually works now), version 0.9b. You can get it here. Make sure to read the readme. Don't expect anything amazing, I've just been trying to get it out.

There is also the (ugly) source available here.

If you have any immeadiate problems I will be intermitently on this IRC chat for a little bit.

Oh, and Nick: you may want to redownload it.

Driv3rownz: It looks like the beta textures aren't in the same spots as the old textures. Move the peices around until they are in the same place as the originals.
