I was searching around on YouTube for Driver videos when I found this:

To add undercover cop cars to Take A Ride mode, do the following:

1. Go to C:\Program Files\GT Interactive\Driver\Scripts\Missions (or wherever the mission files are located).

2. Open up any of the following mission files using Notepad or a similar text editor: mission46.dms, mission47.dms, mission48.dms, mission49.dms, mission146.dms, mission147.dms, mission148.dms, mission149.dms, mission246.dms, mission247.dms, mission248.dms, or mission249.dms.

NOTE: Missions 46-49 are cities at day, 146-149 are cities at night, and 246-249 are the Take A Ride cities that you activate from the hotel room in Undercover Mode.

3. Scroll down & type the line "UseBadGuyModel 1" above the line that says "PlayerCarType".

4. Save the file.

5. Have fun!

WARNING: For some reason, if you try to do this mod with Los Angeles (mission48.dms, mission148.dms, or mission248.dms), the game will crash once a cop car spawns. As such, the LA city files are included for reference ONLY. If anyone can figure out why the game does this, please tell me.

Interesting. I might try it out. But I think it is unrealistic that civ cars are chasing you. I think it should be black sedans with flashing lights.

They are actually gang cars,not undercover cops.

I've done it with the Driver Mission Editor before. It's cool, I remind myself of the 18-wheeler mode in Driv3r for some reason.

Correct, they are the gangster vehicles, but they're supposed to represent undercover cops because they still use radios.

Since they are scripted to chase you,the police radio is used. BTW, beautiful ZZ8 Camaro you got as your avatar,is that a 77 or a 78?
