A real New York plate that could have been on a car shared by Fred and George. This is the current style of New York plates, first issued in 2001.

Well it says it was a real New York plate.
Reflections would have gotten the number plate from there reference images of New York, that's why there art directors got a holiday there to take tones of photos .

I noticed that the plate in that picture had white borders, and the holes to screw them in where white too. I guess they took plates and didn't use Alpha textures. But I know on the Xbox verson, the 2006 Police Cruiser has the Twins 26 plate.

The Twins-26 one! I saw that on one of the cars in the game, but I forget which one. I guess they used that image as their sprite OR someone extracted the sprite somehow. I don't think it was extracted though because it is much bigger and higher quality than the one in the game.

EDIT: In the PC version, the 06 cruiser does not have that license plate. The Olympic SUV has that plate.
