Driver Madness

I as just looking around at some of my older downloaded Driver Content and I found something interesting. TK was never named TK in the earlier versions of Driver: Parallel Lines apparently he was called JT. Sounds interesting, does anyone else have any more information on this.

I'm particually wondering what JT stood for, if we knew this we could possibly know TK's real name which is not mentioned anywhere in the game, or maybe we can find traces of it which may have been left behind, maybe in textures or sound archieves.

I found some other interesting things too …


Look at the picture I uploaded ( I put them all in one ).
The one in he top left corner says 1974 Baxter 05 or 1974 Baxter OS. So, what heppenned in 1974 ? And what's 05 ? The year 2005 maybe ? Maybe it was planned that the game plays in 2005 so they put Baxter 05 and they forgot to edit it plus in 2006, in TK's appaertement, there's a graffiti which says "Baxter wos here".

Second picture ( at the left ). Miss 1976. That the Driver 76 style, and Driver 76 plays actually in 1976. Could be or is Slink's wife.

Okay, now let's come to the thirsd picture. That one says Why Atari is #1 and Atari video computer system and there's a picture of a group of people, maybe it's one of the team from Atari.

Thirs picture : Girls 2F '76. I guess that stand for Girls to f**k 1976. As we know, Driver 76 plays in 1976. But I don't remember any moment which could be related to that one …

Finally, the last picture. Everything I can read on the left poster is Amercia, meet the [ can't read ] cashoc 7 litre. WTF is cashoc ? The name of the car ? …

Auto show 1978 - nothing special.

Lusty Luna - June 24th 1978. Is this something like an easteregg, which says us that Driver 4 will probably come out on June 24th 2008 ?

Black Gold 1975. Well … I don't know …


They are some other eastereggs like that I didn't take pictures from but I'll soon, well probably.

I don't think the Lusty Luna poster is telling us that the next driver game will be out 24th June 2008, first of all, the poster says 1978 so it was probably just some porno they threw in the game. Second, That time is no longer relevant if it was infact the previous release date for the next Driver, since the series in now owned by someone else, that date is no longer of any relevance.

The series isn't owned by someone else, Reflections Interactive still owns the series, the only things that has changed is that Ubisoft is publishing the series now and not Atari anymore.

Ubisoft still has a big say of what happens in the game.
Because they are the ones funding it.

Maybe we should be talking about JT.
Thinking what it stood for?
and why they changed it to TK?
and if there is anything in the game like textures that still says JT?

JT just sounds crap really, maybe they decided it was just a boring name and that no one would ever really be called that.

They never mention a JT but if there was a TJ it could be tobias jones... despite the fact they look and sound soooo differently.

So does that mean people call Mickeal Jackson MJ. Isn't that the girl from spiderman. Crap movies they were.

I don't think that Jones has anything to do with JT. Or even that Driver 3 has anything to do with JT. I think it is just a completely random event that lead to his naming.

To hell with JT ! There was never a JT, there's not JT and they'll never be a JT ! You just simply named it wrong

There is no picture of JT. He just found the name somewhere as an alternative to TK.

In one of the missions at the end, Ray called TK "Jay". Not sure what the T stands for. So, his name is Jay T. Anyone else notice that or is was it just my awesome hearing. Obviously his real name is not TK, since nobody has a name of "The Kid".
