Here's a Fan Art Comic of Driver Parallel Lines.

It's kinda just like the Start of DPL but from very different angels and stuff.
You'll get alotta reminds from DPL and NY from the 70s!
Sorry, No music of David Bowie! LOL!

Cars Include:
Zartex (Police)
Andec (TK's Driving)
Rosalita (Traffic)
Regina (Traffic)

Dudes Unclude:
TK (The Kid)
Robber (Robber)

Points Of Interests:
Empire State Building
World Trade Center
New Yorks Dirty Alleys! woow!

Before looking, Remember that:
- I'm only 15 years old
- Things may not look like the intro movie, but that wasn't even the plan so.
- Everything is close to real-life perspective.
- Crashes may differ from DPL.
- TK and the Robber may look different.
- I don't work at Reflections so, things will not look 100% perfect!

Looks good, nice work. But in the game the police crahses into a Wayfarer, not a Regine :P.

I know.
It's not from the intro.
I already wrote it in the red text above.
My plan from the start was just a Comic that reminds of DPL.

Also, I don't like the wayfarer.
And Regina is my favorite car!

Lol Man! TK looks like a southpark charter!
Its pretty good though!

Thanks.

Naah, he doesn't look like a southpark charectar.
But, he doesn't like the 3D TK too.

I usually draw Anime everytime I have to draw charectars.
But Japanese Anime and American TK from the 70s wouldn't fit that good.

I updated the link in Driver911's thread for the larger version so you can directly download it, rather than having to wait 40seconds for an unreliable download on megaupload.

So here is the link again
http://www.images.drivermadness.net/dpl ... ic_001.jpg

and here is the picture, if the script works properly it should automatically resize and make sure the forum dosen't look deformed.
Code: Select all
http://www.images.drivermadness.net/dpl/comics/amir_dpl_comic_001.jpg
image removed because it loads and the forum is screwed up until the image finishes loading.

Haha! No.
I know you can't.

And now I can hear that you don't know anything about drawing things like that. Sorry..

Hmm … no 8) You've seen the pictures I made about Driver 4, the artworks, I can draw =)

Yes, I know.

But, you wouldn't be able to make a comic like this in 15mins. Impossible.

You will forget following or make them wrong more things:
- Perspective
- Small Details
- Car's perspective
- Original Details you have to make correct.
- Making a picture where the perspective of everything looks quite correct.
- Pencil Effects
- etc.

It's not just some few lines to put on an A4.
And I know all that, cause I've drawn' since I was born.

I know how that works, I'm very good at drawing. Things like persperctive are no problems for me …
Okay let's say 20-25 minutes.

Incorrect.

I've been 14 years old too, so I know how good I was there and how good I am now.

You can't tell me how long it takes.

--
So you're good at drawing, that's cool.
But, then you should know that what you're saying about the 20-25 mins is wrong.

The older you get, the better you skills will be, IF you keep drawing.

And no, things like perspective is a problem for everyone who draws.
Art Directors do have problems with perspective.
You should know that everytime you draw, you gotta "fight" with the perspective first. It's a challange everytime.

If you don't, you'll end up with no balance and no real perspective.

That's not true, a guy who's 10 could be better than another one who's 20 at drawing, that has nothing to do with your age  And as I said, perspectives are not a problem for me …

You really don't understand what I'm saying.
Please read the messages carefully and try to understand the reality before posting something totally pointless "And as I said, perspectives are not a problem for me"..

What I meaned with age was rather experience.
And in these days, an 20 year old guy got much more experience than a 10 year old.

Experience, Age, Skills..

Experience: For letting your fantisy get a wider horizont
Age: For letting you know and letting you get able to see a few new things
Skills: For actually just draw...
Etc.

Read more carefully.
You'll get better with you're age as long as you keep drawing (Practicing)

So, if you draw all the time from being 6 to 30.
Then you'll know that you are alot better NOW, than you were BEFORE.

No offense.
But you do have problems with the perspective.
Alot, and you'll get to know it, when you get older.
You can't see you're failures now.
And the only one who says that he's 100% perfect with no Perspective problems is a guy who have problems with drawing.

If you are that perfect, why don't you work at Disney PIXAR then? :D

And don't tell me that you think you're the best drawer and you're skills will be as they are.
