Who actually liked the ending of DPL. Personally i thought it was stupid. After all that Corrigan had put TK through, TK didn't even kill him. What's up with that. I hated everyone for what they did knowing full well the consequenses for TK, i felt sorry for him and i wanted revenge aswell. So when he let Corrigan go i was annoyed, especially when it was plain to see Mr. Hard Arse Criminal have a warm fuzzy moment. How dumb was that. Who thinks he should've taken revenge and killed Corrigan?

Despite my recent feeling of remorse towards TK however, do not think for a second i no longer beleive him to be an Arse... Cause i still do.

This is a fairly interesting topic.
I'm sure many of us have different views.
Me... Well I actually thought the ending was pretty good, maybe it was the perfect choice of music but I thought it was great.

and TK certainly had some sort of thing for Marina. Maybe there should be a second game where Corrigon friends help him and capture Marina for ransom and TK has to go through many different tactics to get the girl of his dreams back.

But who cares when we prefer the game to involve as much action as possible, but still would be an interesting story. Include something different for once. Tanners lead foot, would that get him girls, maybe it's his attitude and he don't care anymore. lol, maybe he have a thing for Catlia since she was the main female in the game.

Anyways back on topic...
The story is interesting at the end sure TK never killed the corrigon, but he knew that Corrigon was going to get more than a blow to the head. TK was going to get the most painful death of all, tk never cared about pain he just wanted to kill them.

At the end TK is really happy to know that he got to most horrible death he could ever get. However there still if a cliffhanger because we don't know what happened to him.

But I don't think this quote was made up.

It was ok, I didnt really care for DPL anyways but IDK,.

The end was cool, yeh, and I like it when the helicopter crashed
but the end wasn't as cool as the end of Driver 1 or 2

end was good but there was a little of stupidy but the all storyline was very smart and good

I suspected that could have been the case, leaving it open for a sequel... And was it really Marina, i heard Maria, she was spanish wasn't she? and Maria is more hispanic than Marina, isn't that another name for a wharf?...
Anyway. I really thought when she took corrigan away that she was working for him and was just getting him out. I was surprised about Ray though, i didn't expect that bit.

Yeah, I was overviewing my writing, yesterday and I noticed that I accidentally wrote Marina, "The Wharf". Rather than Maria. I'm pretty sure it was Maria in the game.

Also leaving the game open for a sequel is a good idea if the game becomes extremely popular, however it wasn't the most popular of the series so it won't happen and I could never see a Parallel Lines type game coming on a next generation console, I can only see a dark feel type story like driv3r, maybe after that the story will lighten up, like the area used in Far Cry.

As I said before, the music really added to the feel of the ending...

Yeah, that's right!
They seem to pick a good chooice of music for the FMV's.
I thought they did a better job in driv3r with the majority, but it Parallel Lines it was done really well in the *06 era.

Yeah. The music in driv3r was great for a lot of it, but eventually i turned it off and listened to my own music because that helps me drive better listening to jimmy barnes and bon jovi.

What an absolutly shameless plug for the next game. That would be far too cheesy but seeing tanner in the game would have been nice, aside from that pic in the cop station, i'll try to get in there soon cause i've never seen it in the game i just saw the screenshot on this site.

When I restarted the game I saw it. They are a lot of interesting things there, like Driver game covers =)

I still haven't found who you're on about, but i don't really think it would have been tanner.

The ending is pretty cool. Seeing that TK realises that he'll have a better revenge if he lets Corrigan suffer 'till the death. Suffer like TK did for 28 years.
