Driver Madness

Hi could anyone help I'm having a bit of a nightmare gettign Star Token 9 (from the walkthrough on GameFAQ.com) does anyone know where there is a site or info on correct lines to take some of the jumps i really cant do it and its driving me nuts

There are multiple walkthroughs on GameFAQ.
It'll be a lot of help if you can directly link us to the correct faq you were getting the location of these stars from. It may be possible that it doesn't even exist there and the faq got it all wrong. Who knows but it'll help if you can get us a direct link to the faq your looking at.

Also if you don't mind waiting a week or two I can make videos of locating all the stars, so there a lot easier to find!

thanks for the help guys as it happens I have eventually managed to get it it wasnt that i couldnt find it it was that you had to hit the hill it was near just right and with alot of speed. I didnt find a fast enough stock car to do it in (even the sports cars) so had to go back to the garage to get a tuned vehicle unfortunatly it was about as far away from any of the garages you could get and surprise surprise if you didnt get it spot on the jump turned the car on its roof and so back to the garage you had to go (couldnt go and get another car to upright the roofed car as it was too far away from a road so when you came back the roofed car was no longe there). Anyway after much fustrated swearing at the PS2 im now on number 42 out of 50...right im off to drink a beer and try to get the last 8!

Tell me if you need the map from 2006.

Do you get something if you collect all 100 Stars? Because I read that you get the Hot Rod. But I beat the GT Race in Long Island and I won that car

10 Tokens: +50% health (TK brings total 150)

20 Tokens: Double Nitro (Raises the cap to 40 seconds of boost)

30 Tokens: Double ammo capacity (Doubles the max capacity for all weapons)

40 Tokens: Armor Plating (Doubles the amount of damage your vehicles can take)

50 Tokens: Free Vehicle mods (All vehicle mods are free)

100 Tokens: Hot Rod (Adds the Hot Rod directly to your garage)

Thanks... but I already have the Hot Rod and I didn't collect 100 Stars. I won it when I beat the GP Race in Long Island (2006)

Wait... I might double check this but I also think I won a Hot Rod when I won the GP Race and the GP Race is a lot easier to win than collecting 100 tokens.

So then I wonder what is the point of collecting another 50tokens for an award you already have. Maybe you get something else and that's an error on all the sites out there.

Theres a myth that nobody has proved, that if you get 100 stars in 2006 and 1978 that there's a place in Hunt's Point (that tiny alleyway when you leave the garage on the road I think) where you can change your bumpers and rims and stuff, but I doubt it's real because the person called it 1975 or something lol.

I don't have any brothers but i love Driver series,that game have something special,it's like film,in my opnion DPL and Driv3r have very good storyline,GTA can beat now Driver series in aspects of gameplay and graphic engines but Driver series have the soul of a good film.

I want to see back the glory days of DRIVER,when i was little kid i liked a lot GTA 3 and GTA Vice City because of the freedom in the game,after that i discovered DRIV3R in my friend's house,he had the old XBOX(for me it was the biggest console ever made),i didn't have a XBOX so i spend in my friend's house playing DRIV3R for hours,almost every day of summer.That game impressed me a lot,since that i'm a fan of Driver series,later I bought Driver 1 and finally i bought Driver PL,i have never played Driver 2 because the game is not for PC

By good times I mean when I joined and just threw posts on every page.

Max.Thunder is doing nothing like what you did when you joined, so i ask please get off his case, he actually has a very respectable post count.

Chris post posts about how modify the game and also he is a game designer so his posts are better( i'm proud that he made DriVer Russia because not much people can do it)
