Which era do you prefer?

1978 by far, it's brighter and it has a warmer feel. The music in '78 is much better too. The cars are fine in both eras so that part's a tie.

Though, I feel that the '06 missions are more interesting and fun. The only real main drawback of '78 is TK himself. He looks kinda funny and weak.

Yeah, both the onscreen and pause menu map in '06 are too bright and really, there's just to much blue in '06 in general, and the music sucks too. But in my opinion, TK is a much better character in the 2006 era.

To me has most of all liked 1978. First appearance. Bright, optimistical New York in 1978 looks better then cold and uncomfortable NY-06. The soundtrack of 1978 noticeably is better. In 2006 there is only a pair songs which have really liked me. Though I shall agree, that itself ТК in 2006 all more cool, and it's more interesting mission.

I'm not going to vote at the moment because I haven't really decided which is better. Back when I was playing the xbox version the 1978 era was way better I was always in the 1978 era but on the PC version I really like the 2006 era.

I think it's because the music in the pc version is slightly different and they put some better tracks in the PC Release, but they took out one good song I liked in the xbox version and that was "Can't get Enough".

and TK in 2006 was a lot more cooler, but in *78 he had the style.
It's really hard.

But I think I'll choose the *2006 era as it's what I like the most at the moment.

I kind of had a similar thing with driv3r, in the xbox release I perferd Nice and on the pc version I perfered Miami. But now I don't really mind they all seem good.

i think 06 is slightly better because of the cars but 78 is good because of it's music.

2006 cause you've got the cars from 78 and from 06. And I prefer the ambiance and the music in 2006.

I voted 2006 again. The missions were more interesting as you were trying to kill the people who wronged you. I also like the Driv3r reference! "Tanner lives"! I thought he did anyway. Driver Vegas? Driver LA:Undercover?

Why 2007 ? Driver Parallel Lines palys in 1978 and 2006.

06 has the better cars and you can go in the bus stops and phone booths! Anyways the cops are a bit more challenging with the window shooting which is fun and twice I've seen them actually make a road block.

78 is better but i like 06's RPG

I agree, and in '78 there's the demlition derby. For the RPG you can just drive the Negociator in '78 after you beat the game.

I like the 70s style of the 1978 era: the music, the cars, the colors. I'm talking here about the PC version. I hated 1978 on the PS2. But the animations in 2006 are much better, in 1978 they look a bit ridiculous. It would be cool to have TK's character from 2006 in 1978. So I voted for 1978.

That happens often to me . In 1978 and in 2006.

I definatly prefer the RPG in 06 to the 78 grenade hiffer.

But i prefer the general look of things in 78, the weird blue tinge to everything in 06 annoys me.

78 music is better, the cars, look nicer, but don't handle aswell. If 78 had more missions, the RPG and the Antilli Vo3, it would be perfect.
