Street races + other side missions

Trying to finish all the side missions, starting with 2006. Have 5 of the 7 street races done, but cannot find a map that shows where ALL of them are.
I'm assuming it's on the newer DPL List, but it;s been down the past two days.

Anyone?

Aren't their 9 street races in each era.(3 easy/normal/hard) Just pause the game and look at the map, you'll see 3 red wheels on the map...

There's also a map on this ste but I can't remember where....

So, use this one instead:http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/928571/46609

Maybe I missed something. So if I do each race (the three points on the map) 3 time I'll have done them all? Didn't notice, but maybe they aren't always the same.....

Yes, each difficulty has 3 races. After you complete all 3 they'll just start repeating themselves....

If you use that map though(along with pretty much any other map) prepare to be slightly confused by the stick up missions. The map shows that the SU appear in the same area for both era's. This is not true. For example: the SU in '78 appears in Steinway while in '06, it'll appear in the alley leading to the '78 La Guardia Loan Shark mission. So a little exploration will be needed but most of the SU are in the same spot.

Everything else on the map is correct.

No you're wrong Moonchild: for each TRACKRACE they're 3 difficulties. ;)

same thing but the other way around. Umm... maybe not.
I think your right, there are more than 3 races and their are 3 difficulties each race.

Just to clarify, there are 3 circuit race tracks, each one has 3 difficulties. Street races on the other hand are different. There are 3 areas that they are accesible from. One is easy, medium, and the other is hard. Each one of these difficulties has 3 races each. Hence why I said that "each difficulty has 3 races" in connection to SR and not CR.

Now I'm confused... :P
I think the last thing moonchild said is the correct answer.

Hi, I am from Ukraine, so please forgive my for my tarrible english!!!
I have one question. And so, side mission which on a card is designated as GS-Stienway. My time of 16 seconds. I cannot understand why to me do not give a bonus for excellent driving???
That time of passage can at whom much less? In total on it give 5 minutes, my residual time 4:44:46. But the award has not received, though in game it is designated, what it is possible to receive? What then is necessary time????
P.S. The reference to a card all the same http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/928571/46609
It's very important for me.

Wel, I know what your talking about. Sometimes you think you get a great time but you still don't get the gold trophy or perfect time. It can get a little annoying...

My advice for the Getaway Survival-Steinway is to try to get your time to or under 15 seconds. That should get you the bonus. Word of advice though, if you restart the GS you probally know the car respawns in a stationary position (not moving) so it's best to hit the doughnut stands at full speed, that's how I get my "perfect times" for GS's.

Oh, and welcome to Driver Madness JoyTheBoss, your english and spelling are pretty good so don't worry about that.

You have to beat the record twice. Once to make a record, and then the 2nd time to beat it.

You sure about that Coyote because many times I got the Perfect Driver bonus after completing a side mission for the first time. Especially for the Circuit Races and the Getaway Survival stuff.

Well I dont know sometimes it doesnt work so you just have to retry.

Yeah, it doesn't work sometimes because your time didn't meet the requirements for the perfect time bonus. I find that there very easy to get in the Circuit Races though, there a little harder to achieve on the Getaway Survival and Street Race side missions .

Sorry for the double post but I just played DPL for about 2 hours and I noticed that I didn't have a perfect time for that particular Getaway Survival (Stienway) and a few others (I just restarted a new game)

So I tried it a few times to get the perfect time and well, I got it. My time was 4:45:05 so that should be the time that you should aim for. Interstingly I tried 4 other GS's and I got a time of 4:45:something on all of them and I was awarded the perfect time for all 4 GS's, so that should be the time to aim for. Note, this was done in the '78 era and I used a fully customized Ram Raider.

By the way, nobody knows what is the time should remain after end of mission from a taxi? Or in other words, for what time it is necessary to have time to finish mission on gold

They are all pretty much different but I'll post all there times for you.

Steinway (easy) = 1:00
Jersey North (medium) = 0:40
Midtown (medium) = 0:40
Edgewater (hard) = 0:30
*2006
Midtown (easy) = 1:15
Central Park East (medium) = 0:30
Steinway (medium) = 0:55
Jersey North (hard) = 0:20
