another problem with the pc port is the very short shadow distance, on ps2 the shadows go as far as the draw distance but on pc they fade out right in front of you. is it possible to fix this and maybe even increase the overall draw distance?

You should learn how to upload images properly before posting on a forum.

IMO Dropbox is not very suitable for images so i suggest to use an image hosting instead.

Can you please edit your posts? It's not necessary to double post. Thanks. As for your question, yes Imgur is a good choice. I also use it.

Did the draw distance mod fix the problem? I also noticed this "bug".

Driver 3 has its own multitude of problems; I'd rather really short shadow distance than the disgusting pop-in shadows.

I was looking for a fix on this issue too.
What I noticed is that in Driv3r, the shadow distance is long but when you drive a boat the shadow distance is the same as the default DPL PC shadow distance which is too short. Maybe by reverse-engineering Driv3r the issue could be fixed. Or maybe by taking a look at the DPL PS2 Demo Code.
I tried using the Draw Distance mod and it just makes it worse since it only removes the fog making unloaded models more visible.
In meanwhile, if anyone manages to fix it please message me.
