Driver Madness

In Queens I found a construction site with smashable gates and a cop standing on the grounds of the construction site. I think it was supposed to be used in a mission:


There's 2 cut missions listed in the DPL demo's levels.txt for 2006 "The Bone Yard" and "Bullet Proof", could have been used for either one.

There's also a spawn spot for a Commercial class vehicle - in this case a bus spawned there, looks pretty out of place:

The area in '78 is slightly different.
There's 2 spawns for two door sedan class vehicles that spawn parked near the cop, the sand is pavement, and there's no gates and i'm not sure if a commercial class vehicle spawns parked in the same place as it does in '06.

This bus is nicely parked anyway.

Well, the leftover XMV for the "Bullet Proof" mission didn't seem to involve the construction site, it must've been used in "The Bone Yard" mission.
There's a second unused XMV for a mission in 2006 where you you escort a shipment from the docks in Kearney to a warehouse in Hunts Point - also doesn't involve the construction site.

in 2006 they simply moved it, since that section of NJ got completely renovated.

The construction site is located not so far from a secondary mission "Steal to order". You will see 2 cranes in this area. I even had a swat character instead of a cop, in 2006, because of my wanted level lol.

looks cool I found 2 peds standing still near the token and don't move unless you scare them and in 2006 the ground has a ultra low res dirt texture with 2 fairveiws behind the destructible wall. this place looks un finished why did they put a star token here? this place appear again in driver 76 but this time it's finished no more peds spawn here and the ai nodes work correctly but that cop is still there
