1978 - more vibrant colors, older cars, etc...

1978. More atmospheric, not such grey as 2006. Better music. It's more similar on old Drivers, than 2006

1978 for all the above reasons plus i didn't like the blue tint or the way cars seemed slower, 1970's muscle all the way!

'78 for the feel, music and cars. '06 for TK's being more mature and more agressive cops.

I liked 1978 better, because police officers wouldn't drive-by you for running a red light, the music was great and it was sunny and warm. Not to forget that there were subway trains too, I've never seen any in 2006, besides in one mission.

Well New York City

Uses their trains as both Subway and overground. They have entrances.

i like era 1978 it look cooler and cars are older but i like police car zartex and car when you drive in first mission

Nicer cars, good music, and TK looks like he is on crack.
