Do you think there should be a PC Version of DRIVER: Parallel Lines.

Ok... you might be thinking no there should not be a pc version but think about it. What extra features that they could pack in to the game since computer systems are upgraded easily.

They could have the following things:

Film Director (on/off mode) off for more performance (Maybe an exporting feature to export it to avi saving having to buy FRAPS and more fan clips will be around)
Uploading Custom Paint Jobs | one of the reflections team liked this idea
MP3 Folder | May seem like a GTA thing but lots of games have it these days.
Low, Mediem, High quality mode | for speeder speeds in game.
and maybe a few more missions e.g. The Hit was added into DRIV3R PC...

Think about it... It could be a good idea.
And if you generate more FANS it must be a must.
And if your game turns out better than San Andreas you must make a PC version because you'll have a bigger FAN BASE.

And if i had the PS2 or XBOX version i'd buy a PC version as well for the extra features.

Think about your choice happy voting...

Yeh, also they could pack in a whole lot more features.

-Cut-Scene Quality Graphis (I think they would need about 3 to 4 dvd disks for this) or maybe a BLUE RAY!

-They could make it modable and pack some programs with it so we can mod it our selves and when people are bombarded with all those mods they'll mostble buy the game. That's why i bought Vice City and San Andreas (it was ONLY for the mods)

Yeah it would definetly be worth it. There would be so many things that the game could feature and plus it could be modded so I think that it would be a splendid idea.

I cannot vote for this because I don't know wheather there should be or shouldn't be a PC version of D: PL. I mean, it would be a good idea for those without consoles and it would have hight graphic resolution, but however. Driver was originally a console game, and I think this is the approch that Reflections is going at. Still, time will tell, maybe Reflections will go soft and release a PC version.

DRIV3R came out on PC and it was packed with a extra mission and it also came with same higher qualitys. The quality's where a little higher on the XBOX but needed a really good PC to run them.

I dont have the game yet on PS2 but I think it would be great to have a PC version of PL so you would be able to put mods and patches on it

Well DRIV3R wasn't really all that easily modable but maybe they should create a modable PC version of Parallel Lines. Thats what makes up big communitys of modders which will make the DRIVER series more popular.

They should release Driver:Parallel Lines on PC. I love original Driver, even today. I also like these movies, that Driver was based on.

So is there going to be a PC releas or not? Ubisoft bought Atari so are they going to take driver to PC?

This is all one thing, we are all hoping for a PC Release.

Now you may have herd about the Wii version which is now in creation, if not check it out here.

Now with this Nintendo Wii version and PSP version we can just hope that UBISOFT will also release a PC Version and I think UBISOFT had the funds to do this were Atari did not. I beleave that UBISOFT should get a PC conversion going but I'm not 100% sure as nothing official has been said at this point of time. If there is a PC release it may take at least another 6 to 12 months to see it in the stores.

6-12 months why? That is very much time. Is there that much work to be done? :(

Well it looks like they started earlier than I thought and never told anyone because they already have a release date for a PC Release and that's around 20th March 2007.

That is good. I'm happy now. I'm going to have the Game in April if the release date is true.

Yeh, it should be.. UBISOFT are good at making sure those dates are stuck to.
And when DRIV3R was created the dates keep on being pushed around, although the PC version didn't because it was just a conversion and that is easy to perdict a timeframe.

I think it's getting it's UK release on the 30th of March, according to Amazon UK (the last time I checked)

It was the 15th but I've noticed that it might take a little longer than they origionaly said, anyways... the longer they take the better as long as their working non-stop full time :D
