you probly already know this. i was playing driver parallel lines today and i body snatched a guy with an orange coat with white shoulder things on it. well i was in a park and. i jumped into the park lake and my coat had turned green with white shoulder things. it worked with some other civilians.

so what is the deal with that

I Hated body snatcher, for some reason even though i turned it off it turned itself back on again and TK didn't change back. The whole last hour of the game i spent as a woman i killed in the police station. It was weird.

Nvr noticed this before i'll have to give it a try. Everytime I bodysnatch someone I want I end up forgettin its on n end up beating someone up n become them. Poor cops are my prime target lol

That;s achually pretty understandable.
When you think about how the game is constructed.

Considering body snatchers is a very small portion of the game programmers proably don't worry about making sure the characters stay the same when the character is reset.

But I still wonder why the character would be reset when you go into water because it's basically just porting the character away from the water.

Yeah. Something similar happened to me. I was getting chased by the cops when swat arrived. I bodysnatched a swat guy and turned the cheat off so i could stay as the swat man. When all guys were dead i stole a swat van and drove to hunts point. I fixed the van and left. i then got bored and drove it over the bridge and into the water. When i came back up i was a fat dude in overalls but he did the same actions as the swat guy with the running and the salute when he puts his gun away. That part is odd. The second time i turned into one of those construction workers with the hard hats. The third time a construction guy in different colours and the fourth time some random black chick with an afro. I thought this was odd and was going to post a whole topic on it, but apparently now it's normal.

Also, this is dodgy. If you turn the camera so the construction worker is side profile. He looks like he has a boner. Just thought i'd add that.

In the 78 era i got turned into one of those weird ass black guys that bend over when they walk from the 06 era. The ones that wear the green or red jackets. and the hat.

On the PS2 version, in '06, the SWAT guys are not to be bodysnatched. You will start switching through peds.

That has never happened to me, i bodysnatch the swat guys all the time, but i do prefer the 78 swat guys.

If you fall into a lake you will turn into a ped, or if you snatch someguy and jump in a car before you turn onto him, you wont be the guy you snatched. I don't know if there is a specific person this will turn you into, but it generally tends to be the last guy i killed before getting out of the car.
