Does anyone know if there's any way to get back to the Golden Coast's parking garage? The elevator has a Timmy in it in take a ride but you can't use it after killing him. I want to get back in without playing the mission again where you shoot the gang people and take the V8. Also I'm playing D3 on my Xbox.

I've been trying to get in years ago but I recon there's no possibility. At the time I already used the pirson technique (I already knew it before DPL came out, I'm using it in every game, it works everywhere lol).
With some modifications (on the PC version) it is probably possible to start in the garage. I think you have to change X and Y.

Okay you don't know what's the DPL prison technique And in another topic you said you can't get in the prison in DPL. Well to get in you need to know the pirson technique. Should I make a video ?

You have to skid and hop off your bike don't you? I think I've done this accidently and Tanner or T.K. goes flying.

no that is a different one, that is used more for getting to places that are verry far away like the statue of liberty.

Well i don't think you can get into the hotel in D3 anyway. and i know what the prison tech is now... but it doesn't work for me. Also, i'm sure the post in this thread was made before i read the prison thing.

You can get in the hotel, you can't get into the garage.

Dang it. The garage was cool, the hotel is boring.

If you wouldn't have the ability to enter the hotel in the take a ride mode, the hotel would be probably as interesting as the garage.

Maybe. It's just that you can't go in half the rooms and then you can't do anything on the roof either except snipe people lol.

Here's one (100% ILLEGAL) way to get into the garage.
Step one: Hack the Atari Mainframe (207.97.223.202)
Step two: Find the programming computer
Step three: Steal the DRIV3R C++ Source
Step four: Find the library levMiami (or something like that)
Step five: look for the variable goldcoast-doors (oslt) and find "closed". Change it to "open"
This is just my assuption. I have never hacked, stolen or found any variables in an anything.

bad idea don't do it.
Why do you even want to get back in the garage anyway. It wasn't that exciting.

I think it's cool to get it outside a mission.
It's like getting in the prison in DPL …

Sure it wasn't that exciting, but it's fun just to get into places you arn't allowed to go.

Yes, that basicly is it. You can't do anything at the DPL prison, it's just fun to get back in. Plus there's a floating bump sign in 2006 lol.

In Driver 76, in the prison, everything is floating and you can get thru everything.

Weird. Is that a game worth getting for the PSP?

Do you mean you can drive through walls?

Well, yeh, but you can't really cause most of the buildings are floating like 5 meters high, with a truck or a bus it works …

for a start that's the ip address for a computers hosting their site, it's probably not in atari's possession, most likely hosted by a premium hoster.
secondly atari doesn't even have access to the source files, the developers do
thirdly the developers are most likely not networked to the internet as employees could send out secret data about the game, like un-authorized sending the game to us =D
thus making it impossible to hack into their computers.
You would have to be there on the fifth floor. (I think all that stuff is on the fifth floor of their big building)
I'm pretty sure you need to be employed their to get inside or pass some kind of security check before you enter and this would only be possible if you sign a contract to keep certain things secret.
If you want un-authorized access to these files you need to get onto the fifth floor, while no one else is there... so you don't get caught of course.
Once you in you have to turn on a few of their computers, these will probably be password protected so a copy of Hirens Boot CD will do just great and remove the password competly.
Then you'll need to go into My Network Places and find "SRV-ART".
and here is an interesting file you could edit
Z:\D4-Resources\Characters\NewYork\Models\Then\Peds\mercenaries\merc05_then.ml4
how about we go back and look for that driv3r folder, I'm sure we will find something, then we can recompile it and run the game, preferably from home as you have more chance getting caught staying their at reflections.
and then we can post some news onto Driver Madness saying someone got into Reflections Building and stole some files just to re-compile some files to gain access to certain parts of the game. The feds are searching but so far have found nobody... Huray....
This could all be avoided if Driv3r and Driver: Parallel Lines was easily modable.

Unfortunately I don't have $2000 for a plane ticket to Newcastle, UK.
