i used to have driver 3 but and i used to try to unlocked the place that i live,turkey but i never made it and i can't find my cd right now.
so if you still playing it and unlocked Istanbul can you post some pics?

i guess reflections make the poorest places of istanbul which i don't know why..

Madness took photos only from some part of the town, maybe you don't know these districts (Atatürk kültür merkezi müzesi, dolmabahçe camii, Sirkeci station, aya sofia, sultan ahmet camii,…)

yeah but if you go at these places today it's not like you see in the game the screens looks like 90's istanbul :S it's not like today

The game plays in 2003 and lasts 6 moths so it could end in 2004.

The city is not EXACTLY remade, only the most important things are there.

The only games where a city is exactly remade is The Getaway, The Getaway Black Monday and The Getaway 3. The City is London, only a little part of London but that little part is exactly remade. I compared the map with a real city map.

but at least they could have been made it a little more modern. i mean the streets,buildings, vehicles they are from the 90's.

Objects don't think, lol. You mean everyone . Yeah, most of the car's are from the 50-60's (no, they're not from the 90's ) but I think it's like that in the real world. [google]Turkey in 2007[/google].

Turkey has really changed it last 5-6 believe me years

i don't know if taksim is in the game but it's one of the most famous square in Turkey.

I think they wanted to make Istanbul look dull, run down and pretty dark to fill in the dark side for tanner and to give the storyline a darkened feel because you cannot have tanner doing what he does in *78 NewYork in Driver: Parallel Lines.

Also I never took the best screenshots I was a little in a rush but I'll take some more soon so you'll be able to check them out.

I'll try to take the next one of more known places.
