Driver Madness

This is a topic to post all the easter eggs found in D3.

First of all, in the mall in miami you can find various arcade machines of old atari games. this is interesting considering d3 is an atari game.

in the car dealership in nice there are photos of people, probably in the management team for d3.

ill post screenshots and directions/maps soon and try and add to the list, if anyone else know of any that would be good.




note: I posted this in the spoilers forum because it reveals content of d3 that people may not want to know without finding it themselves.

Well in the boat you'll find floating around miami in the sea there are various pictures and photographs of some of the older vehicles in the previous driver games.

Yeh, the same photo is in Gator's Yatch. There's also a picture from the Mustang GT 350 from Run the Gauntelet and in Nice in the supermaket where you go with Lomaz there's a arcade game with written on it "STUNTMAN" (it's a game by Reflections nteractive and published by Atari (2002) D3R has the same engine).

yeah, the gators yacht.

How to get to Gator's Yacht? It's still avaible after completing game?

Yeah, once you've completed the game it is possible to get to the gators yacht. In fact you can get to the yacht at anytime and at anyplace.

I also never realized that when you decided to blow it up it's still available.

oh yea ive been there before,

in stilltsville or what its called theres a big poster with the liberty statue.
Maybe because DPL plays in NYC…

Really? Wasn't a timmy looking person in those huts at sea? You know what I don't know exactly what I'm on about, just thought i may have seen something in those huts. They are the ones south of the Yacht.

Yeah, there's a Timmy in one of the huts in Stiltsville, I think it's the far right one. I don't know though if that's what he's talking about since there are a total of 30 Timmies and their more of a side mission than an easter egg.

As I recall, I did kill all the Timmy's in Miami, but not the other two cities.

The Timmies are not eastereggs. They are like Tommy Vercettis, and Reflections made this because Tommy could not swim and he was very aggressiv.

No. Timmy was a mockery of Tommy from GTA, he has the big orange things around his arms because it's making fun of the fact he cant swim, they're flotation rings.

As for the rest of the Topic. What do you class as an easter egg.

That was a big mistake they they'll make a joke of TK not being able to swim.

I actually think they won't of they want to make a proper solid game.
I'm still thinking it was a stupid idea in driv3r, because it doesn't make the game look all that professional.

But now i get the whole easter egg thing.

I'm not bothered wether it made the game seem unprofessional, it was a small part and doesn't really matter, just a bit of harmless fun.

i killed all the timmys in nice but not in the other ones.

No... No i didn't.
Why don't you kill every Timmy, you get to unlock the armoury which has lots of guns, calendars of mostly naked ladies and it lets you unlock the special modes. Like in Miami, a whole bunch of trucks with two Timmy's in start chasing you. And in istanbul you get Infinate Mass.

i just havent found them.
