Which do you think is a better gaming console?

I'm not sure if Those are good consoles or if I should get a computer to have better graphics in it?

I'd suggest a computer however it really depends.
Today I was playing MotorStorm on PS3 and I thought the game was awesome however I thought the ps3 could do a lot better than it did it was still pretty good, the game also reminded me of FlatOut which I thought looked pretty good on PC.

On the other side of the EB Games they had a XBOX360 show case with a PGR3 racing game on it and it looked pretty crap, so my suggestion is the PS3 and if you want really great and upgradeable gaming try the PC.

Then you could help us mod DRIV3R and Driver: Parallel Lines.

Ya I want to get a pc, but I don't know much it will cost or what to put in the pc to make it able to play Driver games in it. Do I need a good moniter to play the games with good graphics in it?

you can use a really old monitor, it dosen't effect graphics only display quality.

If you want Driver 5 to work on it it's best to wait till the release to decide because we need to know the specs of the game it needs to run.

monitors affect resolution and refresh rate dont they?

yeh, that's all the monitors usually do.
The video card is the one with all the texture qualitys and effects, screens usually don't affect games performances like the video cards do.

Ya, but won't it effect the graphics if the moniter is old?

It depends how you think of graphics.
I know if the monitor is too old and it only supports 256 colors then you will have a problem but if it's old but not that old and supports 16bit colors it should not affect anything.

i cant afford either of them. but i played the xbox at dereks' hous so i'll say 360

PS3, simply because of the system's 1st party games and Blu-ray.

the graphics get better as the resolution goes up. i find having a decent monitor important

I guess this is important, however I just leave my games at 1024x800 this seems to be enough and all old monitors I've used seem to support this.

Soon I might purchase a big proper flat screen, I'm just am going to need the money first , I'm spending too much on Hard Drives, currently I have 700gig of storage space

Thats Crazy!!!!! 700Gb!!! I don't think I would ever need that much, but I suppose you need it for things like driver madness?

and I'm looking for another 400gig HDD... However I want to purchase Windows Vista first and then maybe a good flatscreen.

Ya my monitor was from a old 1995 computer and then it broke for a few days so I got a big screen one! Its nice!
