Just like in Driver 2, depending on what car you choose, that is what the traffic vehicles will be. But in Driv3r, the traffic changes every once in a while.

Yep,the streets are friggin packed, esp. in Queens.

@ BB: No I choose the Firebird for example, and all the traffic is the firebird, the taxi and the cargo van.

No,I mean the 73 from driv3r I used as a example,if there were firebirds in DPL I would like a 77' T/A.

This often happens a lot but there is a very good reason.
Lets say you where driving a taxi, you'll notice a lot more taxis.
In order to save memory (Graphic RAM) the same vehicles are loaded on the screen.

You also notice this applies to any vehicle.
Often you'll see vehicles with similar shapes, most likely the same model with a different texture.

I noticed one of the GTA games had a text file which specified the vehicles driving around while using a certain vehicle.

Both GTA IV and SA have that, the file is called cargrps.dat. I knew about the RAM being saved by using the same vehicle a lot instead of creating a whole bunch of different vehicles, but the models with just different textures is interesting. Are you talking about the LOD's of the vehicles when they are far away???
