I think ESRB went overboard with their ratings. What do you think?

in australia for games we have.... G.. PG.. M15+ there is no R18.. if a game would fall in that catergorey it would be banned in australia
like the Postal games are band in australia

Then I guess in Australia M15+ is equal to a Mature ESRB rating.

I don't care about the rating, I always get the games that are 18+ and my parents also don't care so yeah I guess there's no problem for me

Funny, here in Brazil, Driv3r got a 18+ rating, while Parallel Lines got a 16+.

What?!? thats messed up, Driver 4 has tons of bad stuff in it, or as far as i remember, it was a hell of a lot more gruesome than driv3r

Tipically Brazilian... Here, Need for Speed games get a 14+ rating. But I think that it's the way that they rated the games weren't the same. During the time of Driv3r, the classification stick was different (Similiar to PEGI's one).

That's weird.

I guess 18+ would equal Adults Only here in the United States.

No. 18+ here equals to Mature in US. The rating system here is different. MGS 4 got a 18+ rating.

Are you sure because I thought Mature was ages 17 and older and Adults Only was ages 18 and older. I don't know.

As I said, the rating system here is different from the US. Here, they don't rate the language content, as most people don't know how to swear in English and there isn't too many games with complete Portuguese profanity.
