I was questioning myself about this.

What do you think that would happen if Driv3r would be released maybe a year after from the official release with all polished bugs, on foot sections,etc.?

Simple: it would've been more polished up and most of the bugs we know and love would be fixed. Same thing can be applied to Driver 2. But Infogrames/Atari were stupid and only cared about the money. It sickens me.

Probably Atari wanted to release the game prior to GTA SA release because they thought that releasing the game after that would lose sales. Atari almost killed Reflections.

If Driv3r was fully finished probably it would get better reception from critics and even more popularity.

Don't know if Driver PL would be released.

I highly doubt it would have changed a lot. I mean, yes, the game would have been more polished. But like you say, you don't know if DPL would have been released. And what is DPL? Nothing more than a polished Driver 3…

If on foot was finished in Driver 3, what would it have looked like? Like on foot in DPL Probably shooting from the car would have been present as well as it is in DPL, and not just with someone on the passenger seat (and no ability to change the direction). In DPL you can also see really far away, and there's less clipping. And a few other things I guess.
