I'm not sure if Salary is yearly or quaterly.
But it is expected that Programmers get paid well, after all it is one of the hardest jobs, particually when programming an entire game, it gets fairly deep and complicated.

and since there are many students interested in programming Ubisoft Reflections has to make their employees salary higher so they demonstrate their interest and want to become a part of a team.

Because programmers are in demand over there, and many of the companies out there want to work with them.

I have a friend ( well it's not really a friend but I know him quite well ) who works at EA. He always tells me stuff about new games, as he knows that those games don't really interest me. In general video games don't interest me anymore, I just play Gran Turismo 4 or Driv3r sometimes, that's it.

I guess he cannot work undercover for us then.
Unless Ubisoft Reflections hire him, of course.

Yea, but he says Ubisoft sucks. They fired him when he worked there. And he's paid better at EA, he says the ambiance is better and there's more fun when working on the games.

Valve because I love the Half-Life series and the games based in it (e.g Counter-Strike, Team Fortress...).
