Driver Madness

Who do you prefer ? Tanner or TK ? I'm for the good old Tanner =)

I know we've got a similar Topic but there's no Poll and I think a poll is better than just say "Tanner".

You can find that similar topic here.
When I got Driver: Parallel Lines I was like damn I wish Tanner returned but now I've really gotten into the groovy lifestyle of driver: parallel lines and I'm starting to prefer TK.

So once again I'm undecided.
There both really good strong characters.
But I really do perfer TK in 2006.
I cannot stand the 1978 TK anymore, he gets on my nerve.

I prefer 2006 TK because he acts more serious and action goes good with seriousness.

I just got an idea to make a topic for preferred TK.

sh*t tk was the kid i thought it was a name :shock
i prefer tk because he is really cool
i didn't like tanner too much when i was playing driver 3.

I voted for Tanner. Certainly, ТК the quite good charakter, but all Tanner much more confident and cool. Besides it's very difficult after three parts with Tanner to realize, that in this game him IN GENERAL is not present. Reflections have not so successfully acted, that have removed Tanner absolutely from Driver: Parallel Lines.

Definitely Tanner! Not sure why. But I just think he was a better protagonist for the Driver franchise. He is the original wheelman!

Actually you do see tico! in the PC version of Driv3r, there is an extra mission just before the, Imress Lomaz mission. Tico is in a boat and he starts shooting up your house, he then drives off and Tanner chases him along the shore on a motorbike. There are also lots of guys with grenade launchers too. Lseven7 took the time to kill one of these people and get the grenade launcher at this early point in the game. At then end you have to kill Tico. Anyway, he is called TK not TC. I think this is right, if not, i have some weird arse dreams.

TK stands for The Kid, hence this topic being called Tanner vs. The Kid.

I voted for Tanner by the way.

Tanner was just better i don't know why. I think TK is a bit obnoxious, but i have come to like him more now.

I especially like the mission where TK chases and kills the mexican, for some reason i find it amusing how, every time, at the start of the mission, TK says

"You can run f**ker"

I just love that line for some odd reason.

WHAT DOES TICO LOOK LIKE?

Well have to wait for someone who has the PC version to come on and tell us. If any one can, just load that mission and post some screen shots or something.

Tanner is still alive, he probably got shot in the chest rather than in the head. We all know that Tanner survives because he was in Driver: Vegas where he gets revenge and in Driver: Parallel Lines it says Tanner Lives in the 2006 *06 era. In TK's safehouse.

did you ever realize you repeat the story in d3 cause you see the last clip
twice.

i have the pc one it just does not work on my pc if it did i would not of put
that post up.

Im undecided theres things I like and dislike about both so there both about even. Watch TK will turn out to be Tanner's brother in the next Driver, one became a criminal, one became a cop. They meet again in 2008 both with a bitter hatred for each other, Tanner goes after TK, we get to play both characters sides of the story.

Did you read the text that says "Six month earlier" (Or something like that, sorry if it's wrong cause I have the game in Spanish) after you see the "dead line" in the beggining ?

Sounds like an interesting idea to me.

I thought it was three months earlier... but whatever.

I don't think they'll come out as brothers, cause now ubisoft has control over what happens, and they'll try to steer it away from that kind of thing.

Isn't Ticco the same bloody guy in all of them. Just cause you never meet him in the first two games doesn't mean he's not the guy the PC users see in Driv3r.
