Over 9000 I guess, but it has to be a good game
My "level of hype" wasn't that high back in 2010 when we say the first pics and videos of Driver SF. In fact, I wasn't really interested in the Driver series because of this, and more or less left the Driver forums. I was so wrong because the first time I played it, I was just so impressed!

So this time again, my level of hype may not be over 9000 at first, but I won't make the mistake again to judge the game so quickly, I'll wait until I've played it myself for at least a very long while first

Eh, not much I think, was way to hyped for DSF only to abandon it after i've put 30 hours init and never looking back to it. Fail to see anything memorable in DSF which makes me highly sceptical for any future driver games.

So why moan about DSF about all the things we can't do etc. when the game looks good?

I don't mean just visually, but in general. For an example, if the new Driver would play out something like Ride to Hell I wouldn't be too excited.

Yeah that makes a difference if you judge a game just based on looks or also how it actually is, I do judge looks too (and the overall "image", I think that's what you meant), but getting deeper into the game is important as well, else I'd never have fallen so much in love with DSF <3

I get what you're saying. Getting deeper into the game is basically required if you want to understand it though.

Why I can't say how excited I would be for a new Driver game is because there is none yet. I can't make assumptions or judgements yet. I would like the next Driver game to get deeper into the whole thing with Rufus though.

maybe i'm talking for myself here, but if the next driver is anything like driver 1-5 i will be over the moon hahah. The only situation that i wouldn't be exited for it is if its like the flat out 3 of the flat out series.
