Driver Madness

The ending of Driver 2 always confuses me a little. Why are Solomon Caine and Alvaro Vasquez at war with each other? Caine wants Pink lenny but he's cutting deals with Vasquez. So Caine along with Jericho, Tanner, and Jones join up to find Lenny but the ending complicates everything. We find out that Caine is a member of Vasquez's tattooed Brazilian mob! So why is Caine even looking for Lenny when both of them are working for Vasquez.

Then there's the whole Jericho thing, he kills Caine early in Driver 3, so why doesn't Vasquez respond, and for that matter, who in the very last sequence of Driver 2's ending cinema is following Tanner. Is it Vasquezes people, how come none of them are in Driv3r?

I don't know, D2's ending doesn't make too much sense to me, anyone here understand what's going on.

Everything I know is that the ends means a new Driver. They is no reason why somebody follows Tanner. They wanted to say us "It restarts" or "It beginns again"… you understand ? At the end of Driver 2 you were curious and wanted to know what`s gonna happen, and this was theirsign for a next Driver.

I know that, but that's just a small detail that doesn't really matter. What I want to know is why are Solomon Caine and Alvaro Vasquez at war with each other. There on the same side and the ending identifies that there on the same side so why throughoutt the whole game is Caine and his gang acting against and killing the Brazillians? And if Pink Lenny knows there together, why is he afraid of Caine?

The ending completely screws up the whole story and makes it pointless. I mean what did Tanner achieve? All he did was end up arresting Pink Lenny.
