Driver Madness

I decided to have another hacking session with the standalone NTSC demo, and found the remaining vehicles from the final version. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the textures or the secret car.

I will try to fix the textures later.

Wow, awesome find bro I the driver 2 color expert am wondering if the VW van would have a different / more colors :p

The VW van has textures on it, it's just using the wrong palette. Can you send a savestate from ePSXe so I can find the right palette and reveal textures?

.000 = Bus
.001 = VW van

This replaces the flatbed truck, so you'll have to drive around to find one.

Are you sure those are the right ones? The first one shows you driving a red car, the second one the world isn't loaded properly. No interesting textures were found other than this one, but it's probably seen from in-game:

Both savestates loaded just fine. Just the beta traffic textures, nothing else special here... in short the rest textures do not exist.

I just want to make sure they are the right files. Any way to verify? haha

They are the right files. I drove around to find the right car to make sure that the code was working. I just tried looking in a psxfin save state and found nothing

I swear, looking at the pictures of the bus/VW Van, it looks like they have textures, just a lack of proper palette. Ehh...

Nope, I think these are just the buildings textures.
