I asked Gamersin on youtube to do this for me but he stopped answering.
I'm really interested, as I don't have the beta.
If any of you have the demo.
Could you go to a specific street for me in Havana in the Demo?
This street is totally abandoned in the final version and the cars that are going to turn in it turn themself off before driving into the street....
It's like in Ghost Town, no one drives into it... just in it. They turn themself off before entering the Ghost Town.
I want to see if in the Demo they would drive in these places, it would be interesting.
And when cars turn into it they always turn off and one time.... i was driving into the place and i saw a car parked in Dead Street turn on and off again instantly. :S First it was parked and then it started but turned off again instantly like it was going to drive off but couldn't :s
I really want to see what it was like in the beta, oh and cars are parked weirdly in it too.. like opposite direction and won't start normally like in other streets, cops do though. And if you check, can you post screenshots?
And also if i remember in a beta driver 2 video there were cars driving on some places like near the church in Havana, but that street is just plain weird.

@runo
I haven't forgotten about it. I'm currently planning a video on some of the weird things I've found in the beta demo. With your findings in mind of course

I've finished editing the video, but it failed to upload. I'll try again later and post it here
EDIT:
The video is up.
I'll look at the same street in the NTSC demo as it's a later build.

Edit: Just watch his really great video, And I noticed that the street was once fully alive and full of cars drivinig through it :/ but now in the final version only has one "parked" / frozen car without ignition on the wrong side of the road and everyone who tries to turn / enter the street turns / ignites himself off.
HUGE Thanks go to gamersin!

In the NTSC demo that I have in my laptop, the traffic would go anywhere (even on the road to the compound), except for the area around the church.

Woah!! :/ Damn... I knew there should have been traffic in these places: The Ghost Street, To the Compound and around the church. And maybe in Urcha in Rio too.
I watched a beta video on youtube from a magazine or something long time ago ... and there were cars driving normally around the church.
But yea, gamersin, please upload a video of the NTSC version. looking forward to it.

a message has been sended.
One reason that some roads aren't used could be that with all the vehicle types (10 in total) that it would ask to much of the ram memory.

They probably screwed up the AI paths for the cars sometime during development. There's a similar problem on one of the Driver 1 roads for the PC, cars turn onto a road and disappear. It has nothing to do with too much RAM being used or whatever, it's a developer error regarding AI.

Makes me curious which road in D1 you mean.

Yea if you use the get "Outside the Airport Glitch" in LA you can drive around the outside and sink in the water on the other sider of the city. The version I did this in was the PSX version.
