In this thread, you can clearly point out beta vehicles that are found scattered around various sites, from IGN, GameSpot, and even Computer & Video Games...

Not much to start with, but there was in fact a time when a car that was featured next to a cop car and school bus existed in game:

The school bus looked much more yellow and happy:

The Rio car looked more like a Mercedes:

The Pontiac Firebird/Chevrolet Camaro as we all know:

Driver 1 rims/feel?

What the hell?

Is it just me or did Tanner magically grow longer hair?

That picture with the red Truck is the extended desert from Vegas wich was dropped because the space on the CD was not big enough ( This is why i said that 4 cds would have been better, so that nothing would have to be dropped from the project ).

Actually it was always nasty when the developers deletes the pre-beta or preliminary version of something out from any game. And sometimes the beta stuff is really nicer than the final. Thanks to Computer and Video Games .com, we can see hot stuff out to now. I personally was impresed when saw these dev pictures:

I suppose that Truck-Maniac is totally right. You can also see the column from right that indicates the data place that may left free. It`s all shame that they even didn`t released it as stand-alone program, for even increasing more fans of it!

I remember that Angel Studios released VCK (Vehicle Creation Kit) and thanks to it, now there are still few active MM2 communities and fan-clubs. I can believe that the same may become and with Driver, but in fact, there are still only few fans of it.

But, as I`m looking to the future, since we get full control (?), the key about making the same tool for Driver 2 (which the devs used) cannot be that far away

Also Jeff and SOAP had just relived and liven up a bit more one great game!

I want to know, can I get the beta cars with gameshark codes ( I know we can get the 18 wheeler, but what about the camaro, or trans am)

Miku, the camaro/trans am has been permanently removed from the game. There are no traces of it left in the game.

1:03 notice that car sound is never used in final version, 2:32 look water, 3:11 Rio secret truck sound, 3:13 look in final there is wall with trees in this demo is only trees , 3:30 police says thats negative,
3:39 police says and he looks like a junkie, when player get out car you can hear Step outside the car sound bug that is not in final version.
