Draw DIstance

Thanks to Biscaynes, I learned I have some kind of version of this game (greatest hits) that allows the player to change the time of day and weather effects in Take a Ride mode, like in the BETA version or whatever. Some people were commenting somehwere that one thing they noticed in the BETA version was a deeper draw distance. Does anyone know of a code that one can use to increase the draw distance in DRIVER 2?

I mean, if you are playing DRIVER 2 on PC or, I guess, on a PS2 or PS3. Does playing a DRIVER game for PS1 on a later generation Playstation increase the draw distance without using any kind of code, or is the same shallow distance with major pop-up activity al over the place?

the PS3 only emulates the games, so it will look exactly as it did on a ps1

The draw distance is hard coded into the game. Using a system like the PS2 or PS3 won't change that, if it was like that, would that mean that more polygons would magically be created and make high-res cars instead of the sh*tty low-res cars? Think about it.

LOL! The sound of me thinking about that would probably be like the dull thud of a stone hitting bottom in an empty ground well. Sorry if the question defied what would be common sense for many. Thank you for the replies.

The fucked up res cars only can be looked at better using a better graphics card (PC) OR modding a ps1's Graphics chip...
