Anybody got the music to this game?

I love DRIVER 2 and it's music.

I'm gonna cut to the chase. I want the music. Other people want the music. We don't want to convert the files. We don't want the cutscene music. We want the in-game music.

That is all.

If we convert the files we get the in-game music.
The only other way we can copy this music is to get a AV-RCA to 3.5m Jack and connect both sides to the console playing the game and a Audio Recorder of some sort or a PC to record the songs.

Or use a "Stereo Mix" recording technique while emulating the game on ones PC.

Like Driver 3, I believe the in-game music was made exclusively for the game if I can remember correctly. So you cannot properly purchase it.

I also have something you might be interested in, thought it's on my computer which doesn't work and I'd rather spend my money on something other than technology 8) .

I don't know where that leaves my future. But I'll find out as it comes along.

Hmm... Back on topic :D
Let me fix something up!

Although I'm sure other members including myself would be interested in these tunes particularly on their portable media devices.

It is possible to get, but really it's illegal to share it without written permission from either Ubisoft or Ubisoft Reflections.

As long as we own a copy of the game, we're fine. Or so I hope.

and isn't that the same thing with the DRIVER music?

I don't like Driver 2 in-game soundtrack much. I prefer Driver 1 soundtrack, specially from Miami - Night.

End User License Agreement wrote: You also agree that you will not distribute, copy, display, reverse engineer, derive source code from, modify, disassemble, decompile the game, or create any derivative works based on the Locked Software, until and unless you receive from Reflections, a license to use that software.
Note: That the EULA posted above isn't official from any of the driver games, just similar. Most EULA's are the same in terms of disallowing; distribute, copy, display, reverse engineer, derive source code from, modify, disassemble, decompile.

At least you can put the PC version of the game in your CD player and listen to the tracks :) Nice and easy

I have the official soundtrack.

With the following tracks:
01. Dust Junkys - Fever
02. Etta James - In The Basement
03. Sonny Boy Williamson - Help Me
04. Kenny Rogers - Just Dropped In
05. Mozart - Lacrimosa from Requiem

What you could do is set up Sound Recorder to record only sounds that come from your computer, put the game in, set sound volume to 0 and music volume to 100, and start recording. I wouldn't recommend it because it is a pain in the arse to do.

It's all over YouTube.

Just get a male-to-male (Ugh... -_-') cable and plug one end into the mic port on your PC, and the other into the audio-out port on your PC. open up a song on YouTube, use a free program like audacity and record.

Or... I could just record them all if you don't want to go through all the trouble.

No, its called "download the videos then convert them to mp3 files". I used to do that with the Driv3r in-game music. Use "YouTube Downloader" to do it.

I used to use it, but it had occasional glitches where it would only be clicks, or it would be extremely loud and have a big loss of quality.

Plus, I like hearing the music while I record it :)

Finally I`ve discovered all the Driver 2 In-game and official tracks! 8) Click here! The guy, from whom I get the music is firefox37 from YouTube. In the channel comments I found the link he give for his blog: Click here. I`ve noticed that, some tracks such as the "Red River Bar" and the "Intro" FMV movie are the French version :? But apart from this, all the soundtracks are in excellent quality  (well... I know, they are secure MP4, but when you convert them, the quality is the same  ) and... this guy made my day!

Best Regards
Nicky

P.S
Sorry for my bad english and/or spelling errors.
