Android ftw

Mod edit: Changed title to be less confusing. Those of you just reading this, please note this is not an official release, and was accomplished using an emulator. ~CL

im new to the mobile world. had no idea this technology would work on a mobile device. its just stunning to me. and i use epsxe and the controls are fine, except for the l and r buttons which are impossible to use.

I wish I could play it too! I've found a PS1 emulator for the iPhone but it seems like I need to jailbreak my phone, and that just simply won't be happening.

It really sucks, it would be so cool :)

The Driver 1 iPhone port is nice, but I would have preferred if it was the actually PSone or PC version. I don't like the changes that they've made, like transparent windows (just doesn't fit), or a radio like in GTA, and ugly menus. Oh and the music, but there was most likely licensing issues with the original songs. Takes away the whole vibe of the game :(

They made the cars look absolutely horrendous with those new rims...what the hell were they thinking? The majority of cars in the game are American Muscle, yet they took some ugly ass rims and replaced the classic DRIVER wheels..tsk tsk. Not to mention they disabled civilian car damage, which is what actually made the game fun...crashing into other cars. I don't like what Gameloft did to Driver. The essence of the game is taken away when you play with an original formula. I'm sure Martin Edmondson didn't approve of what they did to the rims, that's for sure! LOL

One can dream...until then, we have Photoshop!

theres only one issue with the emulator, occasionally the sound will repeat. its very annoying with the music but hey, at least the games are playable! it also may be the fact that I got only a single core 1ghz processor
