Which World was Better? TK's or Tanner's?

I use the term "world" in reference to a gaming universe, as in some game series may have multiple universes, like GTA, for example, with their 2D (1+2), their 3D (3+VC+SA), and their HD (4+5) universes.

I find myself enjoying both TK's and Tanner's worlds quite equally.

Tanner's was better, mostly because it was the most realistic. TK's world on the other hand, was Satire City, and full of stereotypes and outrageous scenarios.
I am speaking of the pre-DSF world, by the way.

TK's world was more fun, Tanner's world was full of overused action movie stereotypes. Just my opinion.

Maybe more fun in 1978 but in 2006 is meant to be the other way around and i liked that, it fitted to the mood of the game.
As for Tanner i like the action but in my opinion it wasn't full of stereotypes, at least i found it more realistic than those 80s and 90s Stallone, Seagal, Schwarzenegger type of movies.

I somehow could never really get immersed in TK's world. To me DPL just feels like GTA3, but with better textures.

It was definitely full of stereotypes, Tanner and his whole “world” were just embarrassing (and still are)

Both, When I played the 70's era of Tk's world in PL , I couldn't help but to think of the show "Good Times" for some strange odd reason. But I really do prefer Tanner's World

Both. I think that if there's going to be another driving game they should meet.

Ah Tanner's world I enjoy more. Especially in DRIV3R. It's the most special version of Driver.

And feels more real physics and crash effects wise compared to Driver PL

It basically is. Except you have time travel at the end of the game. In GTA III, it doesn't matter if you complete the game, you will still have people trying to eliminate you.
EDIT: Failure with placing period down at end of sentence.

It's not exactly time travel. The era just changes since the story is over after the game ends.
