Secret cars would be nice. It would give more replay value to the title.

are you implying you cannot do interesting stuff in secret rooms!
Perhaps, if the game had sexual references like DPL had there would be more interesting things to do. But if I wanted anything like that I would go play GTA.

I wanna drive a ford mustang :)

So lets stop talking about secret rooms and start talking about secret cars again.

Yes it would be nice.
But the vehicles would get used much more if Reflections just added more cars that weren't so secret.

So would you prefer 30 cars that you can instantly access with 5 secret cars or would you prefer 35 cars straight from the beginning of the game.

I think it would be interesting to go look for five vehicles and then have them added to the list whenever you start the game, or added to traffic if the game is anything like dpl.

I think there are positive and negative sides. 8)

Perhaps, random vehicles that were taking out of the game should be put in as secret vehicles.

There were a couple in driv3r that were takin out that I really wanted to use.

like in Driver: Parallel Lines (you unlocked vehicles as you completed some missions)

The forklift was quite fun :) and significantly added to the gameplay aspect of the game.

I wonder if there is an interesting vehicle like a forklift?
perhaps a tractor (pretty boring and I wouldn't want to see it in a driver game but something that allows us to push the games physics engine to the limit).

The old citroen wasn't in the final game, but if you look through the old D3 pics you'll see the old Citroen

I would like secret cars, but I dont think that anything like a forklift should be a secret vehicle, I think that you should be able to go to any warehouse in game and find a Foirklift!

I would like a few secret vehicles, maybe like a Monster truck

and a few of the vehicles that were in stuntman (1) (Also developed by Reflections)

I dont think that 35 cars would really be enough in the next Driver game
I think that 65-80 (Per level) would be the lowest amount that I would want to see...

I personally hated driving around D3 and seeing the same cars all over the place...

Yeah, this is the photo of the Citroen in Nice. (most likely the one your talking about, a screenshot released early in development).

@Madness

Yeah that was it!

I've gota say... I cant believe how poor the graphics of D3 looked in its day...

I'm used to playin it on PC with:

1440x900
24x Anti Aliasing
16x Antistrophic filtering
Adaptive Anti Aliasing
ect ect...

lol

I believe these would have been taken from the PS2 Version.
The aliasing looks very similar to Stuntman, perhaps during early stages of development they also used the Stuntman graphics engine. I've played around with the PS2 version and it looks more pixelated, jagged and aliased than the screenshot I posted above.

The only other version they could have tested it with was the XBOX, stuntman wasn't released on XBOX and it has Full-scene anti-aliasing.

I always remembered it looking better than that on my PS2... but then I cant remember Stuntman with any aliasing... lol

That's the only point i hate about DPL: No secret vehicles to find. I hope they come back in DSF.
