Driver 4. I want that absolutely.

Yeah, Driver 4. If the game is going to have Tanner then in needs to be called that. It's just universal law. But if the game doesn't have Tanner then all bets are off.

I voted 4, but thats only if it has tanner in it. If it doesn't have tanner it should have completely different title.

I always wanted to see tanner back and it was quite annoying to see what happened to him.

But now we see TK in 06 he does a fairly good job at what he does and gave DPL a brighter, stylish feel.

So I guess it doesn't have to be tanner, but someone improved over TK anyrate. But I still voted for drIVer (4) because it would be nice to see tanner back, well at least I always used to think that. Now I'm not so sure...

Parallel Lines was technically 'Driver 4' being the fourth in the series. But if Tanner does return, it would be his fourth game as the original wheelman so I'm not sure.

I again don't vote. All is equal to me as the following part will refer, but if it will be Driver 4 all will be very strong similar on GTA where Vice City and San Andreas is not GTA 4 and GTA 5. Generally, it is pleasant to me Driver 4, but Driver 5 more logical name. Though, from the point of view of returning of Tanner, name Driver 4 more approaches!

I think the next Driver should have Tanner.
And the Driver after Driver 4 shouldn't be Driver 5, but Driver: Parallel Lines 2, in wich we have Tanner and TK. And the game plays also in 2 epochs and they are 4 parts of the game: part one TK (for example 1975) part two TK (for example 2008), part one Tanner (1975) and part two Tanner (2008).

And the title is good, the "Parallel Lines" fits

Example of a mission:

(1975) You driver somewhere and then the FBI (Tanner) chases you.
(1975) You just saw someone who was driving too fast, so the mission is you have to catch him (TK).

Wait if it where drIVer wouldn't tanner be in it from the "driv3r" and TK in it because of the parallel lines which could be found above and below the I and the V in "IV" as well as Driver: 4 also being noticed as Driver: Parallel Lines.

It would kind of go good with "TK".

Driver 3 ended off with a cliffhanger involoving tanner (i hate that), then we had Driver Paralel Lines, which, had TK, now even though the game did NOT continue with its usual character, it is still technicly a driver game, therefore taking the place of driver 4, i dont think i am going to vote beacuse its really a tought choice, now even though i just said that DPL takes the Place of DPL and what i would say here would be totally hypocritical; at the same time i would probally vote for driver 4, becasue the game was not a sequal to the other games, and to me was barley even worthy of being called a DRIVER game, so i will saty neutral for right now, and vote later.

right now ive been considering both of them and its pretty hard to decide which one to choose; i mean, i am pretty sure that the game would be called driver 5 instead of drIVer or whatever; however i like the sound of driver 4 better, aand the little itty bitty ways you can mess around with it, driver 5 just sounds too....too...stock- i mean to me it just sounds like another old boring game, with you know, DrIVer, it sounds pretty neat, i have always loved the driver series and i want it to go back to the same funkadelic (i am never going to say that ever again) roots that it came from, so i guess i will voote for driver 4.

now wait, you can disagree becasue, ha, i dont care, but all i am saying is that even though i tired my best to make a legit reason to have it be called driver 5 i just couldnt match it up to driver 4, which, i guess we have all been looking foward too, but its true, as DPL said, most driver realated and gaming sites in general are begginning to call this aleged game D5, which, oddly enough, was never clarified from ubisoft, or was it? I dunno,i should dig into that.

I'm starting to like the idea of DrIVer: Parallel lines 2.

It starts with the resolution of tanners cliffhanger, then he gets sent to [first city of new game] to track down a car theif ring. (all in the opening movie still, no missions have taken place). It then switches to a dark dodgy warehouse somewhere in the same city, with TK plotting to steal a car from somewhere.

After this you should play as tanner for the first mission, then change to tk, and so on throughout the game.

I can see this idea working really well, and the title in corporates being both the sequal to driv3r and parallel lines. Except this time the parallel lines refers to a parallel plot from the point of view of two characters as opposed to timeframes. It also keeps both main characters form past driver games, so hopefully it would keep everyone happy. Plus i can see an awesome storyline unfolding with tanner chasing TK and his car-theft ring across the globe, and having alsorts of twists etc.

The only problem with this idea is I don't know how far into development the next driver is.

The other sites call it Driver 5, because it's the next Driver and they are waiting for an official announcement. But maybe Refletions read other forums and they'd think "hmm… they all call it Driver 5. Okay let's call it Driver 5 !"

Well why don't they just call it Driver: Working Title and make it like duke nukem forever and never finish development.

I don't think reflections would do that, no one every thought of calling it Driver: Parallel Lines and they called it Driver: Parallel Lines!

I think Diver: WT is a good idea for the moment, but we should also say often Driver 4, so people automatically remember and finally they'll call it Driver 4.

and when the game comes out it'll be most likely very different.
But none of us know that now only the developers who can keep loads of secrets.

as much as i remember i voted driver 5 but now i think it will be driver 4 if the game is going to be out.

because after grand theft auto 3 as you now,grand theft auto vice city, grand theft auto san andreas and even grand theft auto vice city and liberty stories came out but now the upcoming GTA is GTA IV

actually grand theft auto vice city, grand theft auto san andreas, ( grand theft auto liberty city stories,grand theft auto vice city stories) were the Grand Theft Auto 3 trilogy.

and now grand theft auto 4 trilogy is starting
