don't get me wrong: i love this game. however, is there any way to get the characters in the cars to shut up? particularly, tanner. he is very irritating.

I agree, at first it may sound funny and all of that but after playing many hours and hear the same lines again can be annoying. As for Tanner he became like that in DSF, they changed his personality, dunno why, in previous games he was way less talkative and making jokes.

I seriously don't know how to get rid of the speech. Maybe someone could help you.

You can, it's in the options/audio or whatever. There should be an option called voice, turn that down.

fist:use a non agressive title example: how remove audio of charcters.

second:go options down the voice bar

I can't see how that is aggressive. He's only expressing his feelings towards a fictional character.
