My interview with Martin Edmondson

Hello! Long time no see on here.

I've been given the opportunity to visit Ubisoft Reflections' studio in 2 weeks time to preview Driver: San Francisco and interview Martin Edmondson for my new driving game site, http://www.drivinggamespro.com - an absolute dream come true!

Let me know if there's anything anyone wants me to look for in the game and ask Martin Edmondson! I'm aiming to throw in some questions about the Driver games of the past, Driver San Francisco and some personal questions for Martin Edmondson, so I'm open to suggestions.

Maybe about some questions of the Sounds of San Francisco vinyl? Like, when there's going to be more info on it.

Awesome! I'd like to know details about the PC version, like if it'll use that DRM and whenever it'll be modding friendly.

Will there be any 70's luxobarges, like the Cadillac Eldorado and the Chrysler Cordoba?
Why are there Fiat 500's and various exotic sports cars in the traffic?

@postaldude, your second question wil maybe gett an answer in the faq.

"How come there are so many European cars in San Francisco?
Well there are a lot more European and Japanese cars in the US than there were back in the 70's so we are just reflecting that really. We have perhaps pushed it a little as the diversity of cars is important to the game and to players. Plus San Francisco is a pretty diverse city so it's probably not all that far from the truth."

If not then sorry >.<

@Star Wars Fanatic, Hi I presume you are also going on the 22nd, I can't wait to see what has changed with the game. How far are you traveling? Loving your website by the way!

For the information of anyone else, I will be going to Reflections HQ on the 22nd of June for a chance to meet the devs and have a studio tour, if you have a question you would like me to ask, please post in this forum...

Hey Martin, nice to see you posting here again. I would like to know, will be there any "Exclusive" version of D:SF which will include some cars that are actually obtainable with special editions (like edition of all special editions).

Sorry if I am not understanded very well, but I hope there will be such version :)

Is Datsun in DSF, and if so, what models are in?

@ star wars fanatic: i found it on this forum, in the dsf faq, see link http://www.drivermadness.net/forum/v2/v ... =43&t=2377

And i am wondering, does DSF has an Buick gsx or Chevrolet Chevelle?

I think they would have revealed if there would be buick GSX, since they were actually supposed to bring it back, instead they did bring back Dodge Challenger R/T. Even on the art of the game you can see a yellow black striped car looking exactly as buick GSX, but it's nowhere to be seen at trailers or gameplay videos. Maybe they didn't get license for it?

Thx for answering, even if only one of the 2 vehicles i mentioned is in the game i would be happy (and a nod to driver1).
